                         Munic{\'{\i}}pio de Jata{\'{\i}}-GO utilizando dados orbitais

                         desenvolvimento de uma metodologia confi{\'a}vel para a 
                         detec{\c{c}}{\~a}o e identifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o das 
                         mudan{\c{c}}as intraclasses e entre classes de uso e cobertura do 
                         solo, com vistas {\`a} caracteriza{\c{c}}{\~a}o da 
                         din{\^a}mica da expans{\~a}o agr{\'{\i}}cola no Cerrado. 
                         Comparou-se a utiliza{\c{c}}{\~a}o de dois m{\'e}todos de 
                         transforma{\c{c}}{\~a}o linear de dados multiespectrais - a 
                         transforma{\c{c}}{\~a}o de \textit {´´Tasselled Cap''} (TTC) e 
                         Modelo Linear de Mistura Espectral (MLME) -, de forma a obter as 
                         fei{\c{c}}{\~o}es de mudan{\c{c}}a a partir do m{\'e}todo de 
                         An{\'a}lise de Vetor de Mudan{\c{c}}a (AVM). Como fonte de 
                         dados, foram utilizadas imagens do sensor TM/Landsat-5 em um total 
                         de seis per{\'{\i}}odos entre os anos de 1984 e 2008 (todas do 
                         per{\'{\i}}odo de inverno). A {\'a}rea de estudo localiza-se no 
                         Cerrado Brasileiro e pertence aos limites do munic{\'{\i}}pio de 
                         Jata{\'{\i}}-GO. Os valores de exatid{\~a}o global dos mapas 
                         produzidos situaram-se entre 53\% e 67\%, e o coeficiente 
                         \textit {Kappa} entre 0,4886 (boa) e 0,3226 (razo{\'a}vel). 
                         Tanto as imagens fra{\c{c}}{\~a}o do MLME como as componentes da 
                         TTC tiveram um desempenho semelhante para a detec{\c{c}}{\~a}o e 
                         identifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o das transi{\c{c}}{\~o}es ocorridas. A 
                         rela{\c{c}}{\~a}o entre o {\^a}ngulo de mudan{\c{c}}a e o tipo 
                         de mudan{\c{c}}a ocorrida n{\~a}o p{\^o}de ser feita de forma 
                         direta, devido {\`a} grande variabilidade espectral dos alvos 
                         agr{\'{\i}}colas. Isso dificultou a identifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o de 
                         outras mudan{\c{c}}as de uso e cobertura do solo, tendo para isso 
                         sido utilizadas as imagens de magnitude de mudan{\c{c}}a e 
                         condi{\c{c}}{\~a}o do pixel nos per{\'{\i}}odos em 
                         an{\'a}lise. ABSTRACT: The purpose of this work is to identify 
                         changes that occurred in the Jata{\'{\i}} municipality using 
                         multitemporal satellite images. The main objective was to 
                         contribute to the development of a reliable change detection 
                         method that identifies land use/land cover inner and inter class 
                         changes, in areas of agricultural expansion in the Cerrado biome. 
                         We compared two linear transformation techniques for multitemporal 
                         data, the \textit {´´Tasselled Cap{"}} Transformation (TCT) and 
                         Linear Spectral Mixture Analysis (LSMA), as input to the Change 
                         Vector Analysis (CVA) in order to produce change features. The 
                         sources of data used were TM/Landsat-5 images between 1984 and 
                         2008 in a total of five periods of analysis (all from the dry 
                         period). Classification accuracies ranged from 53\% to 67\%, and 
                         the \textit {Kappa} coefficients ranged between 0,4886 (moderate) 
                         and 0,3225 (fair). The LSMA and TCT fraction images performed 
                         similarly regarding change detection and change recognition 
                         capacibility. Errors were mainly due to high spectral variability 
                         of agricultural targets, which constrained the correct 
                         identification of other land use and land cover changes. The sole 
                         use of winter images is not recommended due to the similar to soil 
                         spectral response of agricultural, pasture and natural vegetation 
                         classes during this period, thus masking possible change events.",
